Seasonal floral subscriptions are a great way to experience the beauty of locally grown flowers, all while supporting your local grower! A seasonal flower subscription is very much like a CSA (community supported agriculture) share. The slots are open at the end of the each growing season and are paid for upfront. The profits from these subscriptions go directly to purchasing seeds and supplies for the upcoming growing season. In return, you will receive a beautifully curated bouquet weekly featuring the newest blooming varieties each week. Our subscribers get “dibs” on all of the newest varieties first for being so generous in supporting us! Because we grow outside, we use what is blooming at the time and looking the most beautiful, so unfortunately we are unable to accommodate special colors or flower choices for subscriptions. We know you will love the surprise every week!
SEASONAL FLORAL SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS
THERE ARE 3 DIFFERENT 6 WEEK SESSIONS AVAILABLE
The six-week flower subscription, is a great way to get a taste of what it’s like to have locally grown flowers in your home each week. Each six-week session is like a little snapshot of the particular colors and flowers in bloom at that moment in the season. And each week as you move through the session, you will experience new varieties and colors opening weekly. This subscription will include a weekly large-sized wrapped bouquet.. Some weeks will have more, some weeks will have less depending on the size of the flowers used to fill up our large sized bouquet wraps.
These are available for delivery to the Decatur area on either Wednesday or Thursday. The delivery area includes Mt. Zion, Decatur (cut off is Decatur Conference Center), and Forsyth. Warrensburg and Maroa are not included.
Each bouquet is particularly curated to reflect the colors, textures, and fragrances of the season. We grow unique, and hard to find flower and foliage varieties, as well as old-fashioned cottage garden favorites that make each week an exciting surprise!
Session 1 features early spring flowering bulbs such as our specialty tulips, ranunculus, anemones, and poppies. Session 1 will include 6 weekly bouquets, but may not be consecutive weeks. The spring growing season is more unpredictable, so there may be a week or two break in between bouquets at times.
Session 2 features lots of late spring/ early summer blooms including lilies, calendula, the first sunflowers, snapdragons, the first zinnias of the season, and much more!
Session 3 features lots of mid summer/early fall blooms including sunflowers, dahlias, zinnias, celosia, and more!
Some notes:
We will provide you with a care card that has instructions for caring for your fresh cut flowers. We strongly suggest that you follow these instructions to get the longest vase life possible.
An email will be sent when we are nearing the beginning of subscriptions to remind you and give you any updated information you might need.
Deliveries are usually made between 2pm and 4pm. A vase of water or cooler can be set out if you are not going to be home for the delivery.
Sorry, delivery days cannot be changed.
